The ideal candidate possesses knowledge about the cruise routes and excursions and is able to take on the role of Cruise Director whenever required. They adapt well to different people and situations, enabling them to rotate between various itineraries and ships when necessary.

Requirements:

• native or bilingual proficiency in German or English
• positive and outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• public speaking skills
• ability to handle stressful situations and exhibit diplomacy under pressure
• cultural awareness and adaptability when interacting with guests from different cultures
• cruise destination knowledge

Nice to have:

• good command of an additional language (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese etc.)
• experience in a similar working environment

Responsibilities:

• assist the Cruise Director on board and assume their role when needed
• make announcements via the public announcement system
• hold live presentations and informative briefings for up to 180 guests
• offer light entertainment options and announce live acts on board
• host live cooking demonstrations
