Patient and gentle, the Hairdresser is an expert in haircare and able to provide guests with high quality service and advice on hair products, treatment and haircare. As an inspired and well-rounded stylist, they are able to meet the hairdressing and styling needs of both ladies and gentlemen. We are searching for a natural salesperson, both in the hairdressing department and in the onboard shop. They are knowledgeable about the stock in the shop, including jewelry, and are able to gauge the tastes and interests of passengers. Themselves always stylish and elegant, they have the finesse to match guests’ tastes with their own hair services as well as the products available in the shop. Our Hairdressers have previous experience on land or on board river or sea-going vessels as hair stylist, hairstylist, coiffeur, coiffeuse or barber.

Requirements:

• training and experience in providing quality haircare services
• ability to communicate in German and/or English
• very good sales skills so as to effectively handle the on board shop
• knowledge of French is an advantage
• an all-rounder in hairdressing and styling
• good communication skills
• commercial touch

Responsibilities:

• consult with the customer during hair appointments
• offer the best possible look and make clients feel good about themselves and leave with a smile on their face
• sell various products in the onboard shop
• deal directly with guests and support the Front Desk team, especially when guests are arriving
